From North take the A1 Motorway for Rome - From South in the direction of Firenze.
From either direction exit VAL DI CHIANA (30 km South of Arezzo) and follow the sings for PERUGIA which leads onto a secondary motorway.
Take the second exit for CORTONA (whichever direction you are coming from) there are 3 exits for Cortona all three will take you there. Continue following signs for Cortona.
Cortona sits on top of a hill which you can see as you are driving along.
Once you get to Cortona follow the wall round in the direction of Città di Castello and Portole keep straight on for 7Km. When you arrive at the Hotel "Albergo Ristorante Portole" turn left in the direction of VAGLIE -POGGIONI - SAN PIETRO A DAME - TORNIA carry on for 5km, turn left for BAGNOLO, onto a gravel road, continue for 900 metres, on your left you will see a bench carved from a tree and an enormous tree (turned into a sort of tree house and a sign BAGNOLO, turn left at the tree and you are there. Arrivals 16.30 - 19.30 Departure by 10.00 Am.
